So it's that time of the year again. Exams begin for me on Wednesday.

Am I nervous?
No.

But only because my first exam is the one I'm most confident about. After that I generally get less and less confident the later the exam is, and that's particularly true of my last two exams on the 23rd.
But really, I can't say at this point how I'll do in exams beyond the first, as I find it hard to concentrate on, and revise for exams which will occur after an upcoming one purely because the soonest one is pressing down on my thoughts.
As soon as the maths exam is done, I'll be able to get a far better sense of how I'll fare with the Chemistry one, and so on.

It's also in this last week that I bring out my secret weapon: my memory. I am exceptionally good at cramming last minute... partly because the pressure helps me concentrate. Not to say that I'm one of those horribly arrogent people who can breeze through a course with only a cursory glance at the notes at the last minute.; point of fact, I've been working harder on revision these past few weeks than I ever have. But pacing back and forth with my condensed revision notes in the next few days will really help cement equations and techniques in my head.

Ok, so exam talk over. How's my life?

Well, I'm certainly not the giant miserable... thing that posted a few weeks ago. I've picked myself up, dusted myself off and am focusing on my work, rather than on my self pity.

Oh, but guess what?
My wisdom teeth are playing up again. And by playing up, I mean they;ve shifted and seem to be trying to come through my gum diagonally.
Because I guess they thought doing it *right now* would be exceptionally fun for my exams.
On the bright side, there's no sign of an infection yet, so it's just tender, rather than aching and horrible. Small victory, I guess.

Oh, and the most recent release of Naruto on DVD is out, so yay for that. Particularly since it's actually subtitling *properly* this time. None of the english-script subtitles for the japanese-script audio malarky... which is nothing but a gigantic plus.

On the actual broadcast side of things though, both Bleach and Naruto seem to have sunk into a filler arc for the summer, which is fairly dull. Maybe less so for the Naruto one (it might actually not a filler arc, I'm not sure... but at least it fits the continuity), but the bleach one downright terrible, shifting from the (ongoing and unfinished) current storyline to an entirely different one at a different point in time with an almost audible clunk.
Mayhaps I need to find something new to watch over the summer until it gets going again. Hell, I've got to finish up Darker than Black yet.

Also, gaming tomfoolery, but I'll put that into a different post tomorrow.
